We are inviting experienced textile artists from all over the world to our vineyard, to work and get inspired during "Mosel Textile Arts", a textile arts event near the Moselle river.

This place has a special atmosphere with its view of the moselle river valley, and the exchange of experiences and opinions allows for the creation of new, interesting works. On Friday, everyone will meet and get to know each other during a wine tasting offering local wines. On Saturday the artists will be working on their works under this year's topic: Herbs.

On Sunday we will be offering a masterclass where a special textile arts technique will be presented and taught. This will be followed by a free-entry exhibition in the afternoon. Here the artists should be available to answer questions and can even present their techniques if they wish. At the exhibition everyone will be able to contribute to a collective work that has been continuously expanded since the first Mosel Textile Arts in 2018. Additionally, there will be the chance to enjoy some coffee, homemade cakes as well as wine and herb lemonades.

Artists that are interested in participating should send their application by email to the artistic director Aiga Praulina at aiga@kripata.com. Please present yourself, as well as your artistic experience. Even though the garden is big enough for everyone to find their favourite spot, the number of participants will be limited.

We will happily help artists who have a longer journey, find a place to stay. However, since Nittel is the biggest wine village at the southern moselle, rooms can quickly become booked up. That is why we're asking for a timely sign up. We are easily reachable through our local train station and the closest airport is Luxembourg-Findel which is only 30 km away.
